Basic instructions for creating a localized Language Pack: Download the English (US) Language Pack Template (Winamp-en-us.wlz) The WLZ is just a renamed ZIP file. The .LNG files inside are resource-only renamed DLL's. You can extract the .LNG files and edit them in any resource editor, such as Restorator, Resource Hacker (ResHack), or Visual Studio 2003/2008, etc. Note that with some editors, you might have to rename the .LNG files to .DLL first for them to load properly. When done, repack the files back into a zip and rename to .wlz, and you're done. Test your .wlz by placing it in the Winamp\Lang folder, then go to: Winamp -> Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Localization and load your Lang Pack from the list. Please refer to the Documentation readme.txt for further instructions & details. If you have any questions at all, then please subscribe to the Winamp Translations Mailing List. Read the archives first before sending your email, to see if your question has already been answered. ------------------------------------- Last revision time: 17:48 23/10/2007 By DJ Egg
